As for other people's pictures, it is good practice and some would say good manners to post a link, when you know where it came from. I think this is especially important when it has been done by an amateur, such as on deviantart or flickr.
Maybe someone will give me a lecture about copyright, but we all know that in various parts of the world we might need to seek permission, or even pay a licence - but my own view is that if it is not for profit, and maybe even for academic use, it should be free.
Like you appear to be, I love going on the swings, even more than my kids! What a rush!!
