After Kitty learned that I am gay he decided to move on to another table.
Then I talked to Brandon for a couple of seconds between classes. I wish he would make more time for me and not hang out around his sister so such. I dont blame him for trusting and always hinging around her, he has had a hard life so far and thats all he has known through his hard times. I think im the only other person in his life to not hurt him or make fun of him. Maybe im the only person to tell him be is perfect and beautiful. At least he still talks to me.
it sounds like Brandon is the kind of guy that needs time to learn to trust you- maybe a gentle, caring, approach is called for... life tends to damage people in different ways and some take longer to heal than others, but with the right people around them, the possibility of healing exists. Just be aware that not everyone heals completely and a caring person can unwittingly be sucked into the vortex and then the bloodletting begins... I have experienced this cycle and can tell you that the "vampire" doesn't always know the extent to which they are sucking the blood from their victim... Be careful if that starts to happen; a human body has only so much blood and you don't want to be drained which tends to make one feel used- offering your love to someone is a generous thing but there is a human need for a 'Quid Pro Quo' which is basically a fair exchange- you should experience love in return... ReplyDeleteI don't know if you have read 'Let The Right One In' but there's a lovely scene where the boy just smiles a little at the corner of his mouth as Eli befriends him, just a little, but little by little the smile grows wider and wider. It sounds as if Brandon does need time and maybe his smile spreads a little more each time he sees you too. I think tman's advise is good advice you do need to be loved back at some point but with you I am sure Brandon is in safe hands.
